Each year my wife and I look forward to our first outdoor musical festival. Unfortunately, last year we were unable to attend because my mom was seriously injured in a car accident a few weeks prior to the festival and that is were our attention was needed. Although I wasn’t there, I heard great things and saw some amazing photos from the event. Below are photos I took in 2015 and 2016 or Click here for the to see the entire album

It’s so important to participate in community events. They are so important to the community, local businesses and to the arts. I started my blog in order to promote community events like this. I truly hope people who read my blog will go out and participate in the event or similar events. Here’s a few more interesting facts about the festival and the impact it has on the community.
Like every festival there has to be food, and trust me there’s plenty around. Lot’s of restaurants in the area or if your like me and want a great spot on the lawn in front of the stage, there’s lots of food right on the festival grounds in Spencer Smith Park.
Lets talk about the music for a bit, Terri Clark explains what some some need and the sound of music covers most of them, the rest is up to you. Have a listen or click here for the lyrics.
I have attended the Burlington Sound Of Music Festival since 2012 with the exception of 2016.
