Who is Roger Silva?
First off, I am an amateur photographer and a learn as I go blogger.
A long, long time ago…
I was born in a small townhouse in Terceira, Azores one of nine Portuguese Islands located just east of New Foundland in the Atlantic Ocean.
My family and I immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1974, just before my 7th birthday.
In fact the year I was born, was the last time the Toronto Maple Leafs won Lord Stanley’s cup.
Those who don’t know when that was or don’t want to do the math, it was 1967.
Married my high school sweetheart and we have been happily married for almost 27 years. (Yes, she would agree) We have 2 children a male and a female both in their twenties.
What interests me?
I love to walk around with my camera capturing moments in time.
Watching TV or movies.
My wife is my shotgun rider and my companion, both in life and in my travels.
Why a photo-blog?
Like all photographers, I love to share my experiences and photos
Another reason is I love the city of Toronto and all it has to offer for a working class budget.
There are many events listed for Toronto on the Web, but many are too expensive for the average couple or family.
As I get older I feel the need to do more things, like I’m running out of time.
Life is a series of moments, I’m trying to capture as many of mine as I can.
Through photos, I guess I can live longer than my actual life.

All who are nice to their fans.
What Bugs Me?
I detest negative people, whiners and those who do nothing but complain about everything everyone else does.
“If you don’t have anything good to say, shut up”
Having said that, Fight for what’s right and for those who can’t or can’t do it alone.
